Message from the Honorary Consul

As the new Honorary Consul for Mongolia in Toronto, I am delighted to welcome you to our new website for the Consulate General Office of Mongolia.

This is a very special year for Canada and Mongolia, as it marks the 50th Anniversary of Bi-lateral Relations, and many activities are planned for the year.

As to democratic states, we are fortunate, to have a strong and engaging relationship.

Canada is the second largest investor In Mongolia, primarily in the mining sector such as the Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold Minnie, but we are seeing a growth in sectors such as green energy, agriculture etc.

As a Special Advisor to the Business Council of Mongolia, I am proud of the work they do in promoting investment and trade opportunities in Mongolia, and also as an Advisor to the Canada Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, I believe that there are many opportunities to enhance our trade and investment climate.
